I found out about this campground at a camping show, and I tent camped there in August 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

I chose this campground, because I was a single mom taking my two daughters camping, and I wanted to have the safety of a family campground. We were a little disappointed by the very worn out state of the campground. It happened to be freezing when we were there. The pools were not heated, and the hot tubs were not clean. Restrooms, though free, were very rustic.
Pros: Everyone was friendly and accommodating. There was plenty to do activity-wise, if you were on top of what was going on.

Cons: This campground is in need of some serious updating, which would make it top-notch.
Nearby attractions: Easy to get to, Dunkin Donuts very close by.

Further comments:

I hope a renovation is in the future. If so, we would give it another try.

Stay away from cabins.August 22, 2009By JFNLYN
"We rented a cabin in Aug of 09 and were taken back by the dirty stinky cabin #3 that we rented it was so bad we rented a room at the Comfort Inn and went to the campground during the day so the kids could have fun doing the waterslide and other activities. I would never refer any to stay in a cabin. The place was a dump!!!!"
