My friends parents told me about the campground, and I RV camped there in August 2007.
Describe your camping trip:
I am seventeen, and I went with three of my friends and one of their parents. We enjoyed ourselves at the campsite. We could have an exciting day at an amusement park or watching a show and just come back to the campground and relax.
Pros: This campground is not far from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It has a huge game room and a basketball court for teens and kids. There is a story time and many other activities to participate in. There is a huge playground for the kids, volleyball nets and a patio. If you want to go fishing, there is a pond filled with tons of trout. There is a beautiful mountain view and a creek to enjoy. Another major hit is a heated pool and the 500-foot water slide. The campground had a store, so if you ran out of something you could just run up to the front of the campground and get what you need.
Cons:If you have to get in touch with loved ones by phone, it's hard to get service at most places throughout the campground.

Nearby attractions: There are many attractions such as amusement parks, go-kart riding, 3D movie theaters, shopping, dinner shows, and several enjoyable eating places. (Not including the magnificent views.)
Further comments:
This was a very pleasing trip. I went back in late September with the same kids, and we had a blast once again. If you have kids, I would recommend that you take them camping in Gatlinburg at Crazy Horse and let them enjoy the sites.
