My family used to camp at Bear Den in the early seventies. It was one of the very first campgrounds I went to, starting when I was only two or three years old. I tent camped there in September 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

My husband and I camped in area B for just a weekend, but I could have easily stayed for a couple of extra days.
Pros: Our site was more than ample, and the staff is exceptionally helpful. The bathhouse was spotless and in excellent repair. They have a well-stocked camp store and plenty of activities and nearby nature trails. I booked a return trip for a few weeks from now as I was checking out. That's how happy I was with the experience.

Cons: none

Further comments:

Be sure to buy a souvenir toasted marshmallow or black bear ball point pen on the way out. They're too cool to pass up.
