We had previously visited Jekyll Island, and we RV camped there in September 2007.

The campground has all the amenities and is very wooded. The bike trails are awesome. The beaches are beautiful. The sunset is beautiful. The restaurants are great. The sea turtle museum was unique and the highlight of our trip.Pros: The best part of the campground is the space each unit has. Easy to walk dogs. Pleasant and helpful staff. Wooded.
Cons: No privacy in men's restroom for showering.

Nearby attractions: Sea Turtle Museum. Easy access to ocean beaches. Great restaurants. Historic area to visit and tour. Carriage rides. Electric cars to rent. Bike paths are the greatest.
