I found out about this campground on the Internet, and I RV camped there in June 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

I love the campgound. It was very nice. You can tell they just opened, they are still fixing little things. They've got big individual showers and a nice laundry room. If you have a horse, they have a pasture you can use. It was very close to the river, less than 1/2 mile. We had fun. The owner offered to pick up propane on her trips to town. That was very nice of her.
Pros: Big individual showers, nice laundry room, plenty of room, nice area, plenty of trees for shade.

Cons: You can tell it is still new. They dont have phones at all loctions yet, but they were installing them when we left. No Internet. Owner said they are trying to get Wi-Fi installed.
Nearby attractions: The Altamaha River was very close. The coast is only 40 minutes away. They have a nice water park on Jekyel. The prices per night and monthly were very good. I will be going back the next time in that area.
