I found out about this campground in the Georgia State book available at Welcome Centers, and I RV camped there in March 2008.

Describe your camping trip:

This campground is very nice. It's quiet and relaxing with great large sites. Full hook-up in under tall shade trees. Paved interior roads. Most sites fairly level with some gravel.
Pros: Such a peaceful place and large lots, so you are not on top of others.

Cons: Just a little worrisome in a wind storm or tornado warnings.
Nearby attractions: Tybee Island lighthouse, beaches, Savannah, GA.

Further comments:

I look forward to camping here again.
