Rio RV Park, Brownsville, TexasCampground Review from Jerri HoweGuide Rating - ![]() I found out about this campground on the Internet, and I RV camped there from January through March 2006 and 2007. Describe your camping trip:A little crowded in places, but nice. We have a nice site and are able to get it from year to year. The people are nice and frendly. We were treated very well.Pros: Trips to Mexico, was able to take a bird watching trip to Mexico with the owner of the park. Pot luck suppers and game nights. Cons: Sometimes the Wi-Fi did not work. Nearby attractions: Boca Chica Beach and Sable Palm. A lot of bird watching places such as Santa Ana NWR. Gladys Potter Zoo, which is a great zoo. Further comments:Having spent two winters in Florida, we find that Texas is a very friendly place and Rio RV Park is a very nice place to stay. |
