Shady Oaks Campground, Pigeon Forge, TennesseeCampground Review from SandraGuide Rating - ![]() I found out about this campground on the Intenet, and I RV camped there in October 2007. Describe your camping trip:This is the most horrible campground I have ever stayed in. The bathrooms were moldy and filthy. There was a stench of garbage everywhere. The owner is very disagreable, and it is a cash only business. If you mentioned you were at Shady Oaks, the locals just shook their heads and went "Oh no." There are several permanent trailers there with holes in the roofs and garbage strewn about. It is a real mess.Pros: The only thing I could comment on that was ok, was the washers and dryers looked fairly new. We chose not to use them however, given the condition of everything else at this campground. Cons: Filthy, moldy shower house. Stench of garbage in the air. Nearby attractions: Smoky Mountains Further comments:We couldn't wait to get out of there. |
