I found out about this campground from a family friend, and I tent camped there in July 1997.

Describe your camping trip:

We stayed for five days and never got bored. We spent our days lying on the beach (a small cove), walking and playing in the creek, which runs through the camp, hiking to the old limekiln and the huge waterfalls. Gorgeous!
Pros: Beach, creek, Redwoods, waterfalls. What more could you ask for? I don't remember it being very crowded at all.

Cons: There are no spaces for RVs (for some that's a plus).
Nearby attractions: Carmel
Further comments: Definiteley the best campsite I've ever been to, and I've done my fair share of camping in California.
