I found out about this campground on the Internet, and I tent camped there multiple times summer of 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

Wonderful campground situated on a beautiful small lake about 20 minutes North of I-40 in Conway, Arkansas.
Pros: Most campsites are shaded by trees, and all are well maintained. Hiking trails with geocache near trail. Roped swim area with sandy beach and lifeguard on duty. Playground area for kids. Small park store and concession stand are great conveniences. Bathrooms/showers clean and well maintained.

Cons: If you want to fish, bring your own bait and tackle as there are no nearby sources. Lake doesn't allow gas-powered boats, but has paddleboats and small boats to rent, or you can bring your own.
Nearby attractions: Lake Bennett
Further comments: Park offers many interesting programs for kids and adults during spring and summer months.
