I found out about this campground on the Internet, and I RV camped there in August 2007.
Describe your camping trip:
My site wasn't clean upon arrival. When I asked for help from the maintenance staff, he couldn't be bothered. Three hours later he showed up, and we'd already cleaned up the trash that had been left behind. There weren't too many problems after that until we overheard one of the office staff making racial comments about an Indian family that had just left the office. Definitely inappropriate for a staff member or anyone really.
Pros: The activities staff was really fun. The campfires were a blast for our young children. They loved Chummy the Bear. We enjoyed playing family activities such as the family relay races and Chummy Ball. It seems like those girls were really busy. they never sat down. Heather spent a lot of time with my kids, who tend to be more shy. They made a lot of new friends.
Cons: All the staff were pretty friendly overall, except for the owner, John. He was very rude, and although he was very busy it wasn't very good customer service. Not very impressive for a family resort. Some of the rules were very strict, which is fine for during the day, but at night adults should be able to do what they want.

Nearby attractions: Local mall, grocery store, a few gas stations.
