I was tired and my wife saw the sign, and we RV camped there in November 2007.
Describe your camping trip:
This a ten site RV park run in conjunction with a tack/feedstore. It is located west on La Luz Gate Road, west across the railroad tracks. First stoplight north of the bypass on Highway 54.
Pros: Easy in/out, full hookups, nice for overnight or a couple of days, quiet.
Cons: This is not destination RV park. No showers, laundry, etc. If you are a light sleeper, workers start arriving around 7 am. We were tired and didn't notice.
Nearby attractions: Whatever is in Alamogordo or nearby.
Further comments: After hours, go to the second gate (west). Phone: 505-439-0276
