A friend referred this campground, and we RV camped there in September 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

Granite Hill is a very nice campground and very affordable. The staff is very nice, and the campground is always kept clean. There are tons of activities for the kids, and they have three playground areas as well as miniature golf, paddle boats and a fishing pond. Most of the sites are wooded, some pull through, some back in. They also seemed to have a very nice tent area even though we went camping in our travel trailer. They have three separate shower/bathroom areas.
Pros: Lots of activities for the kids as well as very nice playgrounds. The staff is very nice and the campground is always kept very clean.

Cons: The only recommendation I would have for Granite Hill is to update the showers a little. They have a new shower house, but the original needs some updating. Also, it would be nice if they would add in more full hookup sites. They have a few, but I would say the majority of prime location sites are water/electric only.
Nearby attractions: Gettysburg
Further comments: We love Granite Hill and go there for weekends at least 2 to 3 times a summer.
