A friend told me about this campground, and it sounded great. I tent camped there in August 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

My girlfriend and I went camping there last summer. We went in August. It was really hot at home, but when we got to the campground it was perfect weather. Our site was right on the river, tons of trees and our site was huge. We had site L. We really liked the privacy of having the last site on the river. It's quiet just like they advertise. The owners came around during the day to check on noise, and at night they make certain all the radios get turned off. I liked that it wasn't a party place. We really wanted a quiet campground to get away from the city. We will definitely go back there again this year. Great hiking and fishing too.
Pros: Quiet and big sites.

Cons: No big stores nearby, but they do have a campground store. They sell the basic camping and fishing stuff plus some groceries. Made it convenient to get ice without having to drive anywhere.
Nearby attractions: Hiking, fishing, boating, swimming.
Further comments: Great place, will camp there again.
