I found out about this campground on the Georgia State Parks Web site, and I RV camped there in March 2008.
Describe your camping trip:
Very nice state park. Extremely clean and well maintained. Lots of recreation opportunities including camping, fishing, boating, swimming, hiking trails and miniature golf. The staff, both paid and volunteer, are very helpful and friendly.
Pros: Large campsites with over half pull through. Bathroom facilities are older, but clean and well maintained.
Cons: No heat in the bathrooms. A March cold spell made this evident.

Nearby attractions: Wild Waters theme park in Valdosta, Georgia.
Further comments: I will be returning to this state park the first opportunity I have. The excellent facilities and friendly staff made our one week stay very pleasant.
