This campground was recommended by another in the area that wasn't open yet for the season, and I tent camped there in April 2008.
Describe your camping trip:
This campground was huge. So many RVs, I was surprised that they were squeezing tents in. There were definitely people that stayed there for the whole summer. Nice area, but too crowded.
Pros: The only pro was the general store.
Cons: Because it is such a large campground, lots of families can get sites side by side. If you are a single family set within one of these groupings, be prepared to stay up all night listening to them play music, sing along and tell bad jokes. An all camp silence was supposed to happen at 11 pm, but no one was around to enforce that. Our New York City apartment is quieter than this campground.
