I found out about this campground on their Web site, and I RV camped there in April 2008.

Describe your camping trip:

We stayed in a 32-foot travel trailer. We had a good pull through site, and we stayed over a weekend.
Pros: Quiet at night, pool fence being replaced, friendly staff.

Cons: The advertised stocked pond was actually a stagnant moss covered one, playgrounds need repair, pesky resident, no activities for small campers, game room had half the games broken and was smelly.
Nearby attractions: VA Bazaar about 20 minutes away, Kings Dominion about 20 minutes away.

Run Down & Down & DownNovember 03, 2008By YouSelect
"The month of October,2008 we traveled the State of Virginia on an Historical Tour. Wonderful! Except for Hidden Acres Campground. This must have been at one time a great campground, but it is now very run-down --bad roads, decaying sites, poor customer service, no feeling of safety. Do not stay at Hidden Acres. Woodall should definitely rethink their grading of this. Pat"
