I found out about this campground from their Web site and the Trailer Life CD, and I RV camped there in April 2008.

Describe your camping trip:

Very nice location on the lake near the Wirtz Dam. Small park about 4 miles from Marble Falls with good shopping, restaurants, etc. We are full timers so Wi-Fi and cell service were appreciated as well as big rig friendliness.
Pros: There is good access to the lake. Sites are large, extremely well maintained (both pull through and back in). Quiet, upscale park with excellent facilities. Staff are very friendly and efficient.

Cons: The wind almost never stops (15-30 mph). Expensive $600/month and electric is extra. No cable at that price.
Nearby attractions: Located in the Texas Hill Country. We were here in the spring, and the wildflowers and cactus were spectacular. Austin is 40 miles east. LBJ historical sites, Perdenales Falls, Vanishing River Canyon, Fredricksburg museums and shopping are nearby.
Further comments: All in all, this is one of the nicest parks we've stayed in. We enjoyed our visit and will probably return.
