I found out about this campground from my parents, and we RV camped there in July 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

We actually tent camp and RV. It has hook ups, if you need to. The spaces have grass and some dirt for your cars, a picnic table, some have fire pits. 120+ spaces. Very shady. They have a free tiny museum, playground, picnic area, horseshoes, a campground store that serves lunch, ice cream, pies and sweets. Quiet, even when busy. Token showers, about 8 or 9. Nice bathrooms, always clean. I have gone there since I was one month old. We started out tent camping, then my dad bought a motor home, but the kids still tent. We have two generations of family that go every year for the 4th of July.
Pros: Shady, playground for kids, quiet, scenery is perfect.

Cons: Token showers.
Nearby attractions: Fishing, tons of fishing. For the 4th of July, they have a show at the airport. Hiking, swimming, hot springs, Mammoth, Laws Railroad Museum, park in town with stream through it, lots of stores.
Further comments: We come back every year, 22 years, and thats just me.
