I found out about this campground from my parents, and I RV camped there in August 2006.
Describe your camping trip:
There are spaces for tent camping and for RVs, but if you are RVing, you can not put a tent down, because it will wreck the grass. It has a great view of Mono Lake. Hiking trail right by the campground. Clean bathrooms, clean showers, showers are part of the fee, so you don't have to pay with a token or take a timed shower.
Pros: Quiet, showers.
Cons: Spaces so close together.
Cons: Spaces so close together.
Nearby attractions: Nice park, within walking distance are tennis courts, basketball hoops, playground. Stores, ice cream shops. Mono Lake, Mono Museum, Mammoth, Bodi, fishing.
Further comments: Be prepared for all weather, rain and shine.
