Pecos River RV Park, Carlsbad, New Mexico

Campground Review from Nana

I found out about this campground on their Web site, and I RV camped there in July 2008.

Small park, very large trees, big spaces and located right on the Pecos River. Park owners are friendly and helpful. I will stay here again and again.

Pros: It is like an oasis in the desert. Nothing like you would expect for the area.

Cons: Right off Highway 62/180.

Nearby attractions: Carlsbad Caverns, Living Desert Park and Zoo, Sitting Bull Falls, Carlsbad Riverwalk, Carlsbad Beach Area.

Further comments: I think you will really enjoy this place. I do and I have stayed many times.
