I found out about this campground from their Web page, and I RV camped there in October 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

This is an older but well maintained campground. My family and I spent three days there and really enjoyed ourselves. The kids had a great time on the playground and fishing for trout in the White River and catfish in the pond. The electrical service was great with a solid 50 amp hookup. The cable service has more channels than I have at home and the new Wi-Fi system works anywhere on the campground. The guided fishing trip was out of this world. We caught more trout than I ever dreamed of.
Pros: The maintenance staff is always working to upgrade and maintain the facilities at the campground. They are highly visible and always there if needed.

Cons: The Campground has a gravel entrance road, which on occasion gets a little rough after a hard rain, but it is quickly graded out by the maintenance staff.
Nearby attractions: Golf, antique shopping, movie theaters, bowling, music theaters, lake fishing, horseback riding and caves.
Further comments: I would recommend this campground to anyone looking to just relax and enjoy themselves.

"This rv park is in a beautiful area and in a charming town. The park is relatively nice, however there are lots of campers(not the people) that stay here full time. Some of them are not taken care of and are unsightly. I think that many of them are here for storage. There is a pick up truck behind the office with aluminum cans spilling out of it and old mattresses laying beside the dumpster. The laundry room is a horrific mess. The floor is dirty with old dryer sheets everywhere and one of the dryers is taken apart with all the parts laying around. The section of the campground next to the river is the most desireable. It is clean, quiet with a beautiful view of the river and the 1930's bridge crossing it. The bridge is lit up at night and looks great. If you don't have to bother with the laundry room and don't look too much at the mess around the office, this park is great for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of northern Arkansas."
