We found out about this campground on the Web, and we RV camped there in June 2008.

Describe your camping trip:

We found the campground clean, but certainly not friendly. We arrived Friday and my two older children arrived on Saturday departing on Sunday. They were traveling 10 mph in the park. Speed limit is 5. One of the owners chased them down and began to yell stating that they were traveling 30 mph. Trust me this guy couldn't run after a car going 30. My daughter stated he got up in her face and told her that the male with her (her brother, a police officer) would have to leave the park. After finding out he was a cop, his tune changed. He later arrived at our site and attempted to insight trouble and told my children that because they were overnight guests they would be expected to leave by 6:15 in the morning. I have never experienced an owner so rude as the owners at Butterfly.
Pros: Clean.

Cons: Rude owners. Pool closes by 6 pm. Owners are always yelling at kids for not obeying silly little rules. It seems that the seasonals own the place.

Further comments: Would never stay or recommend this place.
