I found out about this campground in the Adirondack Camp Guide, and I tent camped there in August 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

This beautiful campground is stretched out along the entire eastern shore of Lake Rollins. Almost every campsite is directly on the water in a single line giving everyone a great view and maximum privacy.
Pros: Late afternoon delivery trucks slowly go throughout the campground selling firewood and ice and renting canoes. Early evening here comes the ice cream truck, which kids swarm. Peaceful, beautiful, lots of kids having a great time. Come prepared, provisions are 10-15 miles away. There is a small store with basics just outside the campground.

Cons: Nothing, unless you are looking for large family attractions.
Nearby attractions: Lake swimming, canoeing, fishing. You can pull your canoe right up on the beach next to your campsite.
Further comments: Even when there are large family reunions, and there are many, everyone respects their fellow campers. Some of the best campsite rigging up I have ever seen.
