We live about an hour from this campground and have done numerous day trips. This was our first experience camping overnight. We tent camped there in April 2008.

Describe your camping trip:

We took me 10 year old's girl scout troop camping for the weekend and had a wonderful time.
Pros: The campsites were fairly large and well spaced so that you did not feel so close to your neighbors. The area we camped in was a circular area with the bath houses in the middle. All sites were close to the rest rooms.

Cons: We did not have any complaints with this park.
Nearby attractions: Right outside the gate to Indian Springs you will find a quaint little town that is so much fun. There was a free whimsical botanical garden that you could walk through, an art studio that gave free children's lessons on Saturdays, and a delightful ice cream shop.
Further comments: We loved Indian Springs and will definitely return for another visit.
