I found out about this campground on the Internet, and I RV camped there in June 2008.

Describe your camping trip:

We stayed one week. The campground is gated for security, but it made long lines to get in especially on weedends when campers were backed up to check in.
Pros: The sites are very large, nice camping store.

Cons: The staff was not very friendly to any of us. Seems as thought it is all about the seasonal folks maybe. The waterslides are expensive. Also have to pay for mini-golf and for a shower. The pool was very cold, not heated. We had site #1, which completely flooded on us. Don't take this site, because it happens a lot. We had to move sites and staff was not friendly about it, saying, "It is all part of camping." Our firewood was floating in 8-10" of water, our carpet was floating, the fire pit was flooded. Not fun. The staff could have handled the situation differently and had a happier camper.
Nearby attractions: Mystic Aquarium, Roger Williams Park Zoo.
Further comments: We will not return.
