I found out about this campground on the Internet, and I tent camped there in August 2008.

Describe your camping trip:

Very clean and rangers nearby. Nice river and plenty of hiking for everyone. They also have horseback riding. You don't have to worry about anyone being too loud. It's a great place to take the kids.
Pros: Things to do. Play or fish the rivers. Rangers give a night hike for campers, and for those who always wanted to ride horses, they have two trails, one hour and 2.5 hours. The campsites were very clean, so people care. And for those who must have a restroom, they got them. The best thing, your cellphone will not ring.

Cons: Honest to God, nothing.
Nearby attractions: I suggest stopping at the nearby ranger station. Give yourself an hour or two. Also your seven miles from Cherokee NC. Lots to do there.
Further comments: Had a great time!
