I found out about this campground on the Internet, and I RV camped there in September 2008.

Describe your camping trip:

My wife had called and made the reservations. She never told me just how rude the young man was that talked to her on the phone until we returned home from this fiasco. Oh, he left us a message at 8:30 on our home phone, wondering if we were going to bother showing up or not. We arrived at about 8:45 pm to a pitch black campground, except for the blinding lights at the unbelievably narrow entrance. There would be no help to guide us to our site as the kid that signed me in was out of there like he was being chased by a bear. The grass hadn't been cut for quite some time, probably about six weeks or so. The campsite itself was in need of a good grooming. After taking a tour of the grounds the following day, I then formed my opinion of this campground. This is the place that RVs go to die. We saw several obviously unliveable RVs, tall grass everywhere, miniature golf course (forget it), swimming pool (the water was black, not dark green, but black). I'm guessing from what I have read that this didn't just happen. It is a large campground with a lot of neglect. Never once did I see a person of authority over the age of 18.
Pros: Electricity, water and the tanks drained. This place has great potential, they just need to take charge and do it.

Cons: see description
Nearby attractions: Bushkill Falls, Flea market
Further comments: They stole my money once ... never again.
