I found out about this campground on their Web site, and I cabin camped there in September 2008.

Describe your camping trip:

The campground was very well maintained. All facilities were very clean throughout the weekend. Many amenities for adults and children. Very convenient to travel and nearby attractions.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The registration and departure checks were efficient. Grounds and building were clean. Convenient to primary and secondary roads.

Cons: Golf carts were rented at this campground, and most campers found the carts to be their entertainment, which resulted in day and night wannabe Nascar drivers with much dust in the air.
Nearby attractions: Luray Caverns, Civil War battleground sites, Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive.
Further comments: Very nice campground in the off season when golf cart races are probably reduced.
