I found out about this campground from a family member recommendation, and I RV camped there in October 2008.
Describe your camping trip:
The campground covers a wooded hill leading down to an ocean inlet.
Pros: Sites are large, private and wooded on the main drive down to the shore. Staff is very friendly and cooperative. Shuttle bus leaves several times a day to Boothbay Harbor. Restrooms are dated, but clean and well-maintained.
Cons: No swimming pool, which may be a disadvantage for campers with kids, but OK by us oldsters.

Nearby attractions: Boothbay Harbor, Wiscasset, Maine mid-coast
Further comments: One of our favorite campgrounds.
