I found out about this campground in Trailer LIfe Directory, and I RV camped there in October 2008.

Describe your camping trip:

The campground was super clean, and the lodge staff was extra friendly. There are plenty of supplies, if you need something. There is a great place to sit and feed the ducks around a stocked trout pond, where you can fish. There's a 200 foot waterfall that you can hike up, which we did with our boys, ages 8 and 11. There are trampolines built into the ground that the kids had a blast with as well as the house rabbit and squirrels that you can hold.
Pros: It is easy to find, well lit, super clean, plenty to do for the whole family.

Cons: The fire rings are too close to the campsite for RVers.
Nearby attractions: Fun WOrld for the kids, Hiawassee Fairgrounds, Dahlonega - panning for gold and mining gems.
Further comments: There was a huge home-cooked country breakfast, all you can eat.
