I found out about this campground on the Texas state parks Web site, and I tent camped there in November 2008.

Describe your camping trip:

The campground was very clean and natural. There were many great campsites available, and the staff was very helpful when we were trying to pick which one we would stay at. Our campsite was located on a cliff that overlooked the lake, which was breathtaking and amazing in the morning light. All trails and fishing piers were well marked, and the restrooms were very well maintained.
Pros: Great sites, helpful staff, clean restrooms and overall park.

Cons: The signs are only on one side of the road. They are only visible when driving in one direction.
