Describe your camping trip:
This campground was a pleasant surprise. It is 10 minutes off I-81 near Bristol, TN. We stopped overnight, because the Web site said "wide roads for easy site access." We were so pleased with the campground, we stayed for four days.
Pros: When they say wide roads for easy site access, they mean it. We stayed in a pull-through site. The campground has private bathrooms. The bathrooms and the entire campground were very clean. This campground overlooks Boone Lake and almost every site has a scenic view. The fall colors were beautiful. The staff at this campgroud were the most helpful and friendly people we have run into. The campground is less than two years old, so all utilities are up to date with 50 amp service at every site. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the campground.
Cons: The campground is new, so the trees are not mature yet. However, we have a Class A Motor Coach, so we don't want trees that keep us from using our slide outs.

Nearby attractions: The Tri-Cities - Bristol, Kingsport and Johnson City. Bristol Motor Speedway. Boone Lake. Abingdon, VA and Jonesboro, TN.
Further comments: Sometimes you happen on a campground that surpasses your expectations. This was one of those. This will be one of our favorite campgrounds as we travel north and south on I-81.
