I found out about this campground by word-of-mouth, and I RV camped there in October 2008.

Describe your camping trip:

This older campground is very secluded, peaceful and quiet.
Pros: Clean rest rooms with hot showers, decently kept up. The campground host was very friendly and helpful.

Cons: Far away from everything. Ideal for boaters, hunters and fishermen. Mosquitoes are abundant during the summer, so bring plenty of repellant. It is rumored that there are alligators in the shallow waters to help control beavers.

Further comments: This campground is on the Arkansas River System and is a favorite among hunters, who hunt in the Wildlife Management Areas near by.
