I found out about this campground while searching on the Internet, and I RV camped there in July, August, September and October 2008.

Describe your camping trip:

This campground is extremely clean, and there is just a friendly environment that exists. The owners work very hard to make the camping trip enjoyable.
Pros: This campground is very clean, and there are cabins, if that is what you prefer. Assistance is always available, if needed. It is in the beautiful north Georgia mountains just outside of Helen, GA. The campground is small and very peaceful. They have full hookup including water, sewer, cable and electric. The roads and sites are paved with fire rings at each site. As they say, "All is good at Creekwood."

Cons: We have not found anything bad at this campground.
Nearby attractions: Helen, GA, fishing, mountain trails.
Further comments: We visited state campgrounds, and then we found Creekwood. The trips to this campground provide a peaceful break for us, and the beauty of the area adds to the relaxation of the time spent camping. Although there are no amenities for children, adult campers will find this a great experience.
