We found out about this campground through Passport America membership, and we RV camped there in February 2009.

Describe your camping trip:

The campground was flat and free of trees. We have been traveling for the winter in a travel trailer.
Pros: Easy to get to from I-10 and sites are large.

Cons: I looked up this campground on thier Web site and followed up with a email and then called. I did not get a replay from my email. When I did get someone on the phone, they comfirmed that they had a heated swimming pool and a hot tub. When we arrived, they said they only opened the hot tub on weekends. The pool is not heated. Now the weekend, and they say they do not open the hot tub. Also, most of the sites have old trailers that have not been moved in years and kids running around. This is not a resort, but a residental trailer park.
Nearby attractions: Casino
Further comments: I would not refer this campground to any RV traveler.

Well the pool had green slim on it until our last day there. They were draining it trying to get ready for the 4th of July I was told. I never saw a hot tub, although it is advertised. During a heavy rain storm our trailer spot # 8 flooded so bad we almost lost our camper. The water came up to the top step of it and we had to pack up and move to another spot wading water over our knees. Management did not even tell us it would flood. They never offered to assist us moving or came and checked on us. I never met the owner. There are old trailers that people live in there, loads of them. Some are held together on the ouyside with tape. Several broke down vehicles, some with For Sale signs on them. This place is the worst I have ever stayed at. Had we not pre-paid I would have left the second day there. In one word TACKY. It was camping hell for us.
