We found out about this campground online, and we cabin camped there in January 2009.

Describe your camping trip:

We were looking for a quiet and peaceful place on the water.
Pros: Staff was very friendly, facilities were very clean.

Cons: Off of I-10, but worth the ride.
Nearby attractions: NASA, Florabama.
Further comments: Gorgeous sunrise and the dolpins swimming by were great.

I have not actually stayed at the campground. My problem is with the owner. When trying to cancel a reservation due to the recent oil spill, the owner would not return calls I made regarding the need to cancel. When I did reach the owner after several calls she was very rude, refused to refund the whole amount, and hung up the phone. I can only wonder what the customer service would be like if staying at the campground.
