I live in the area, and I tent camped there in March 2009.

Describe your camping trip:

This campground was very clean and comfortable. We had excellent weather with 75 degrees in the day and 50s at night. Good tree coverage kept the sun from heating the campsite up too much, but helped with the warming of it early in the morning while coffee was perking on the fire. Large campsite with two tent areas and back in for an RV, fire pit, bbq pit, and uncovered picnic table set up rounded out a fine campsite.
Pros: All park rangers were very helpful and took care of our needs. This park has a double boat ramp, lighted fishing pier with excellent night fishing and a nearby fish cleaning station.

Cons: I have been to this campground before many times, and it is one of my favorites.

Further comments: There is a small grocery and diner just outside the park for anything you may have left at home.
