By David Sweet, About.com Guide

We found out about this campground in the Vermont camping guide, and we tent camped there in July 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

A very nice campground with large shaded sites and a nice lake. The lake has boat rentals and a beach. Staff was great, and the whole area is very pretty. There's a great country store 10 minutes from the campground. This park is on a mountain side above the lake, so depending on where your site is you may have a bit of a walk to get down to the beach area, or you can drive down to the parking area.
Pros: Just a very nice place to stay.

Cons: A bit of highway noise at times.
Nearby attractions: Bromley Mountain is a great family place with all kinds of fun stuff for kids.
Further comments: We stayed here for three days and had a great time.
