We are always searching out great camping spots and were driving in the area. We RV camped there in August 2008.

Describe your camping trip:

This is a great park. There is lots to do and see. A hike to the lighthouse is a must do. Views of the Chesapeake are fantastic. We were up for some serious relaxing on this trip, so we really enjoyed the beach.
Pros: We took our travel trailer on one of our first outings with it. This is the first place we had full hook-ups, very nice and not always available at a state park. There are pull-through sites, and the facilities and grounds were very clean.

Cons: We didn't experience anything unpleasant during our three day stay.
Nearby attractions: Woody's Restaurant in North East. Otherwise, there is just too much to do inside the park to want to leave.
Further comments: We took our dog with us on this trip, so they are pet-friendly.
