We found out about this campground while try to find a quick weekend getaway, and we RV camped there in April 2009.
Describe your camping trip:
This campground is great for tents, trailers, and RVs. We have a 40 foot RV and found no low hanging branches, plenty of room, flat paved sites, large fire rings, a grill and plenty of beautiful lakeside sites. This campground is well kept and groomed. There is a boat ramp, a long fishing pier, which backed up to our site #64, and a long sidewalk, which was great for skate boarding, hopscotch, scooters and kids' imagination.
Pros: Lots of trees, plenty of beautiful lakeside sites, staff and security, easy location as it is right off the 400 (2 miles). You can book your site specifics online, so there's no guesswork.
Cons: Nothing. You'll love it.
Cons: Nothing. You'll love it.
Nearby attractions: Lake Sidney Lanier.
Further comments: We did not use the bath houses, but I heard they were clean.
