I found out about this campground on their Web site, and I cabin camped there in June 2009.
Describe your camping trip:
If you want to be kept awake all night, this is the place to go. Friday night was outrageous with music blasting and drunken parties. Saturday night, fireworks set off at 2 am and police arriving. Not one sign of any security. They have rules, but apparently don't enforce them.
Pros: Pool looked clean.
Cons: Half of the bathroom was closed for painting, no privacy, and noise.
Nearby attractions: Zoo, boardwalk.
Further comments: I would not visit here again, even if they paid for my site.

"I stayed in a cabin at Adventure Bound Campground last weekend and found it satisfying in every way. It is off season and while the cabins were full, the campground was not. The cabin was basic yet clean and well maintained. The bathroom and shower facilities were spotless. Although there was a charge for the shower it was only a quarter. A nice touch that is not always offered in campgrounds I have stayed in was soap and paper towels , so you did have to tote along a bar of soap and a towel each time you visit the toilet. My general impression is that they run a tight ship. What initially appears to be an excess of rules actually keeps this facility on track. i would not hesitate to stay here again."
