I found out about this campground on the DCNR Web site, and I RV camped there in June 2009.
Describe your camping trip:
We stayed here for a week. It was their first year allowing dogs. We took our dogs. Nice campground, but we could not leave the dog area with dogs, and we could not go to the store together or to the beach. There was place to go with dogs, and it was cleaned up very nice. One spot had old fencing lining the shore. Dangerous for the dogs.
Pros: Clean rest rooms, roomy sites, nice beach.
Cons: No electric sites on water, dog area small and in middle of campground.
Cons: No electric sites on water, dog area small and in middle of campground.
Nearby attractions: spill way on lake.
Further comments: I would go here again, but not with dogs. Another drawback was no electric sites on water.
