I found out about this campground from signs on Highway 93 just north of Stevensville, and I tent camped there in June 2009.

Describe your camping trip:

This campground has spacious sites. Several have great space for 2 large tents (our family of 9 uses 2 large tents). There is plenty of open space for kids to explore, and several hiking trails are close by. There is also a creek running through the campground.
Pros: Pull-through sites, open spaces, clean.

Cons: none
Nearby attractions: Bass Creek Recreation area, hiking trails, Lee Metcalf Wildlife Refuge in easy driving distance.
Further comments: We were warned that our barking dog was a nuisance even though it wasn't quiet hours, and she had only been barking a couple minutes. It was only a small issue - we put the dog in her bed for the night.
