I found out about this campground on my GPS, and I RV camped there in June 2009.

Describe your camping trip:

Nice, clean, well spaced campground. Nice train themed cabins and decorations. Heated indoor pool and rec room. Nice staff. Centrally located between the interstate and Route 66.
Pros: Clean, well laid out.

Cons: none
Nearby attractions: Williams, AZ (original wild west town) 7:00 every night there's a "shootout" downtown on 66. Good family fun. At dusk, classic cars drive down the strip (66). Good souvenir and "real stuff" shopping. Amtrak also runs from there to the Grand Canyon. Cool visitor center. Grand Canyon approximately 1 hour away. 30-45 minutes on the way to the Grand Canyon is Bedrock City, home to Fred, Barney, Dino and the Bedrock gang. Cute attraction for the family.
Further comments: Loved it.
