I found out about this campground by word-of-mouth, and I RV camped there in June 2009.
Describe your camping trip:
Beautiful wooded rustic sites in the back and the RV park up front. It is clean with well kept lawns and full hookups. The people in the park are friendly. As you walk around the park everyone says hi. The swimming pool is fantastic, clean and 81 degrees. There is a game room for kids and adults to enjoy including ping pong, foosball, shuffle board and more. They plan annual activities throughout the season. Our favorite is the Fathers Day pig roast and pot luck. The food is amazing. I could go on and on, but why don't you check it out for yourself. It is an experience you will not soon forget. I must also mention the owners who are the nicest people you would want to meet as campground owners, Ken and Becky Wethers. When you call, tell them Glen and Kathy sent you.
Pros: extremely clean including rest rooms and showers.
Nearby attractions: Lake Michigan, Bear Lake, Portage Lake, antique stores, farmers market and more.
Further comments: I cannot say enough about this campground. Simply driving by it is very deceiving. You can't miss the giant yellow dinosaur. You have to drive in to see the full beauty of the park.
