A tree farming co-worker told me about this campground, and I tent camped there in June 2009.
Describe your camping trip:
The campground is newly reopened after extensive updating.
Pros: All modern amenities. Full electric, sewer hookups, pull through spots. Nice hiking/biking opportunities.
Cons: Not as fun for us tent folk to live among the giants. It was a little pricey ($33) for a tent as well.

Nearby attractions: Au Sable railroad.
Further comments: We took the free guided tour of the 350 year old virgin pine forest and self-guided tour of the recreated logging camp that logged all but 49 acres of pine forest.
