We knew about this campground, because we live in the area, and we RV camped there in May 2009.
Describe your camping trip:
Grove is a beautiful campground on a ridge above Laurel River Lake. It's well shaded with water and electric hookups, and there is also a dump station. There are new managers at the campground that are very friendly and helpful, unlike past years. The lake is a great deep water lake with a good trout and walleye population.
Pros: Very well kept, clean, hot showers.
Cons: No lake access within a short walk.
Cons: No lake access within a short walk.
Nearby attractions: Cumberland Falls.
Further comments: It is a short drive (less than a mile) down to a full service marina that rents boats.
