I saw the sign for this campground, drove through and fell in love with the place. I RV camped there in May 2010.
Describe your camping trip:
The campground is great! the electric sites are for the most part level, mowed and trimmed very nice and the whole park is super-super clean.
Pros: The lake is within walking distance of the campground, complete with beach and swimming. No driving or 20 minute walk to get there. The 2 bathhouses are almost spotless, and the staff are some of the friendliest people we've met at a state park. The campground has a very family-like quality about it.
Nearby attractions: Holiday World and Splashin' Safari, Lincoln Boyhood Home Memorial, Lincoln City Village.
Further comments: We live within a 50 mile radius of Lincoln State Park, and we feel we have a true jewel in our own backyard!
