I found out about this campground when I drove by on the way to eastern Washington. I made a reservation through the State Parks System, and I RV camped there in June 2010.
Describe your camping trip:
Great Campground! Our site had water and electricity. We backed our RV into the very well paved blacktop site, plenty of room. We had another couple stay with us in a tent (additional charge for that), and they had plenty of room too!
Pros: Possibly the cleanest state park campground I've ever been to.
Cons: Too many ADA sites. Only ten sites have hook-ups and three of them are for ADA. Umm, that's like 30%. I don't think a third of the population is handicapped, so drop one. Also about five of the sites are for group camping. It should be lessened.

Nearby attractions: The Skagit River, great hiking trails and beautiful peaceful nature.
Further comments: At about $30 a night, it's still a great value!
